DIDACTIC POTENTIAL OF HUMANITIES IN DEVELOPING TRANSFORMATIVE COMPETENCIES AMONG COMPUTER ENGINEERING AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY UNDERGRADUATES

In the recent decades harnessing advanced information technologies and their tremendous potential to improve quality of life for people all over world is becoming an urgent need than a luxury. Knowing full well that as innovative student-centred learning paradigm Education 4.0 creates favourable prerequisites developing valuable professional skills, abilities knowledge among Computer Engineering Information Technology undergraduates, researchers assumed it also might be effective in preparing them challenges contemporary through transformative competencies while studying humanities. The paper aims reveal didactic humanities undergraduates’ competencies. carried out exploratory study five Ukrainian universities using online survey conceived developed by team researchers.
